This one is called HOPELESS ROMANTIC
I'm a hopeless romantic and I am falling in
When you pop into my mind, the whole world starts to spin.
I can't stop it, nor will I try.
I've always wanted to love, always wanted to fly.
You said you think I'm different in all of the best ways,
[And I think you're handsome though your beard looks like Billy Mays]
I can't wait till once again, I lose my mind in your gaze.
I like the way you look at me, I love you way you smile.
And something in me, deep inside, whispers you're worth my while.
I really want to be the one, the one right by your side,
When you're in the big, white church and the man says "kiss your bride."
I want to grow old beside you, and after our kids move away,
I want to be rocking beside you, watching that beard turn gray.
You're the best inspiration that I've had in a while.
And honestly, I really think it's all cuz of your smile.
And I know a gap is coming up, but I know we'll make it through.
All I want is sixty years standing next to you.
We're both hopeless romantics, We're both falling fast.
But you and I will be together, as long as our souls can last.
Princess Sullivan. [poem dated 7-25-2010].
